Pomona 7-22
It was HOT, not the bite just the tempature. Fished the trees for about two hours, minnows looking for summer pattern bite----not there. Caught three dinks, a catfish, and a white bass. Moved around different spots on the lake, caught fish but have had better days. If your going there this weekend Green Acres might be out of minnows, she had a difficult time getting what I wanted, you might want to call ahead. I do not have the telephone number, does anyone. The water looked good did not see any alge, the termocline is 15 feet, lots of chad.

I had the same results today. We fished 110 mile trees and caught two little ones and one really nice one to the boat but lost the big one. The shad are just unbelievable!! Threw the net 4 times and filled a minnow bucket with 4 inch shad! Tried the wipers over around Adams grove boat ramp and caught a half a dozen white bass and a small channel cat but no wipers.
Going back out tomorrow morning with the 4 year old and try drifting with shad for channel cat. Taking a 5 gallon bucket of rotten milo and going to throw it out and see what transpires.
Water temp was 90 degrees this morning when I got on the water at Adams grove at 6 am!!White Flag IconNeed some cooler weather for sure!
