Is there any crappie fishing near Long Beach?

Best bet is Lake Henshaw. Diamond Valley Res. has good size Crappie. Diamond Valley is approx. 60 miles from LB and Henshaw is approx. 80 miles from LB. El Cap. down in San Diego has good crappie fishing, but Isabella up near Bakersfield is the best. Most all the lakes near LB have Crappie, but not an abundance of them. Irvine lake, which is closer to LB than any of the lakes I have mentioned has good Crappie fishing. Lake Elsinore also has Crappie.
