It amazes me at the feathers that some are trying to pass off as saddle. On ebay there are some that looks like they come off chickens with mange Doh... I guess it will get a lot worse near Christmas.
It is hard to find them at the bait shop now. I agree with you.
As of about a month ago my main place to buy salt water neck hackle by the pound stopped selling bulk. So I am down to buying packs wholesale and may add tomorrow a bunch before they are out of packs too. Already they are having trouble with the variegated hackle and are out of most. I just got some and should have bought more I guess. Thank goodness I bought a pound of each of my favorite colors like Chart, and FL Blue and FL Yellow even if it's not the FL yellow I like best. I am starting to wonder if there is a way they will attack marabou?

I hope they leave marabou along, but who knows!!
Me too, heck we have to have some kind of good feathers to use. Think I am going to add a couple pounds of marabou. I have plenty Chart as I have close to 2 pounds and FL Yellow, not the one I like best, bit still good and I may want to get some FL Blue and Hot Pink, not sure about other colors and need to think on that. I do have a lot of Oz. of different marabou so maybe I have enough.
