Where do you buy European-style super small split shot and floats? I mean those guys use such sensitive equipment. I've been using #2 to #4 line and #14 hooks and still want to go lighter.

Thill wagglers are Euro-style floats. You can get them at Bass Pro, Cabela's, or directly from Lindy. FishUSA also carries some of the Drennan floats, but they're quite a bit lighter than the Thill floats.
For split shot, look for a brand called Dinsmore. It's a soft, English shot that is very good. Bass Pro carries it and a French shot called "Super Doux". Wacker Baits also carries Dinsmore shot. FishUSA carries Raven shot. I haven't used it, but it might be good, too.
For small floats look for 'strike indicators' or 'thingamabobs'. About all of the sporting goods stores are carrying them now.
The only downside to them is that they are made to be cast on a fly rod and are very light. Therefore, they won't support a lot of weight. A 1/32 oz jig will sink most of them. You can fish bait under them (like a mealworm or waxworm), but you won't be able to cast if very far.
I already have one of those. I'm tried of casting, and a cane pole gets the job done.
In that case, forget the wagglers and get some English pole floats. The cheapest option is the Thill Shy Bite. A better option is a Fox pole float. Wacker Baits sells them, and they are the most sensitive floats sold in North America. Wacker also sells the split shot and the silicone tubing that holds the float on your line.
Have tried the bobbers that come in the trout magnets yet??? I think you buy them from leland if you like them. Boy are they light
Thill shy bite or mini shy bite are really great - otherwise google Drennan or Blackbird (I think it's Blackbird?) for the european style floats. Drennan makes some really nice ones, but I really think you can do just as well with a well balance Thill mini shy bite - that's my favorite float!
