Greetings slab hunters,
Went to Racoon and had a fairly good day caught over 50 fish at 9 up to 11.5''. Man those fish are hungry. Was a good day started early to avoid pleasure boaters. Most of the better fish came out of deep cover. The depth ranged from 3 to 15' deep. We were spider rigging with 2 baits per pole. We were catching 2 and 3 at a time. Gad a good day only brought home 11 for eating. :cool:

Yes I am a slab master fisher,
Went to Racoon to day started at about 5p and nearly went through over 10 dozen minnows in 4 hours. Catching as many as 4 fish at a time. Fished about 7 feet deep to catch the majority of the fish. Most of these went about 10'' and to many to count. Found about 4 good areas for fish. fished from the idle zone south in the main lake.
That's a great catch and from the way it sounds Racoon is ON FIRE right now. Go get 'em boys.Thumbs Up
