No not at me, I to nice to get mad at,,,,the storm last night knocked the corn down, we only had a small patch few rows as it were, oh well we needed the rain, thanks mother nature...... hope they sell corn at the farmers market.

That happened to mine one time and I straightened it back up and tossed a shovel full of dirt at the base of each stalk to help hold it up.....it did just fine.
I aint that ambitious
Beagle, I quit planting sweet corn when the local orchard here started selling it 12 ears for a dollar. At that price, its not worth the effort of growing it myself.
Had Corn on the Cob from Harter House in Kimberling City and it was the finest I've had since I moved down here.
Lived in Central Illinois for 23 years and it's hard to beat Illini Sweet right off the stalk and into boiling water when the sugar content is at its peak.
