Greers 7-2
My Mom and niece came up from Mississippi today and wanted to fish so I took them out. Tried Hill Creek but water fleas were every where so we made the run across the lake to Sugar Loaf. Went in Lynn Creek and must have been a 100 boats in there but the futher up I went the less boats so we decided to give it a try. After several passes I finally found some. We ended the aternoon with 17 so they both were happy.

Glad o see you guys found some water you could actually fish in. I know the lakes HAD to be crowded today. Congrats on the catch.:)

That's a good day in the crowded conditions. Glad you were able to find some.

Roger on the water fleas. I used to keep a party barge in a slip at Sugar Loaf for years and it got so bad I wouldn't even go up there on the 4th of July weekend!

Nice day creek. I saw the fleas out in force yesterday. Didn't find a house, but got a few prospects for today and Monday. I think you told me, but what area did y'all settle in?

I live in Mystic Isle just across the Edgemont bridge. Middle Fork goes behind my house.

Hey Creek - Thanks for the report. I will be there Friday staying at a house in old 25 area. I cant wait to get my trolling rods out. I will start at Peters Creek and depending on the ticks and fleas might stay there. Any other area to try on the South side 5-10 miles from the dam, I dont mind the ride if its not rough. ESE wind 5-6 mph this weekend. If your on the south end this weekend, look for a boat with a brown umbrella trolling. Thanks for all the help this year on your home lake.

I have only pulled South of the narrows 1 time and caught more walleye than crappie, which is not a bad thingHands Clapping, so I can't be much help there. But on the North end of the lake don't rule out trolling right up the middle of the creek channels.Thumbs Up

Where on the south end were the walleye Creek?

On a slide across the lake from Shiloh. Got a 22"er up Devil's Fork yesterday but he was in the slot so had to release him.
