Finding minnows is the hard part in this heat. Any of the big, deep creeks will work for night fishing. Fish are often 8' - 12' deep in 20' -30' of water.
u right about minnows nobody has any. has anyone ever used a cast net around the lights to catch any for bait?
Yes, but they die pretty quick.
Decatur bait still has minnows, they'd be glad to see you
Cooleys going toward the dam normaly keeps them year around
