Took my wife and son on an experimental crabbing trip sun. started out good , then the tide got real hard and they slowed so my son and I went swimming off the boat while mom watched . Had fun did some exploring for future fishing trips and brought home 41 crabs to eat.
Sounds like a great time and dinner too!

tomm. we are all packed up for the start of a weekend camping trip to a little res. and campground not far from the house savage river res. and big run state park .
calling for rain but i can take that with a cool one helping lol.

well made it back alive good time was had by all but few fish were caught couple bass and some rockbass and 2 nice blue gill but threw them all back .
only got a lil rain late fri night but beautiful sat and today here .
got to try out my new dutch ovens one recipe was awsume ( some kind of bean sour cream dip stuff)
but the other one i had high hopes for was cherries white cake mix and some apple sauce but it didn't work out so chalk one up for the dutch oven gods as that one hit the fire i weeped a lil tear in the corner of my eye lol.
but all in all great water was warm 76 and beautiful.

50 /50 on the dutch oven is not too bad. I always make a big pot of beans during turkey season.
