Dead Lake

Hello ,my name is Mark my brother (bradp on the forum)and I are getting back into FW fishing a little. He mostly surf fishes and i fish the flats and ICW creeks.
I live in the coastal area so SW is in my blood.
I notice Lindas' landing on google maps and was wondering if that is where the boat ramp is , looks like nice docks and maybe the restarant right there?
Looks like a real nice place to go out of. I think I can get there in a bout 40 mins from my house in crescent bch area.
Great board and great info here i have been readin g a lot ,it is very helpful.
I have never caught Crappie in my life but 2 weeks ago was able to go to Woodruff lake and get some nice hand size shellcrackers. Worms on a dropper rig,steady bite in about 5' of water seemed like we found a colony cause they were almost cookie cutter size.

Oh yes they are not open till wed so I wanted to also know if they had bait or just a restarant. Any places to get minnows or worms nearby?

Dead lake had a restaurant, bait shop, and a boat ramp. good luck, its not gonna be easy catching crappie right now though, especially if your new to crappie fishing. Good luck though and dont get discouraged if ya dontget any

Thanks guys for the help and the welcome. I am just in the info gathering stage right now but will go there when the weather cools down for sure. I just realized this is the closest FW bodie of water to my house ,not bad!
