Got to Guide My DAD and Uncle/Lake Dardanelle

Got to take my Dad and uncle out on Lake Dardanelle and watch them catch some Big Slabs. It's always fun to watch ur Family memebers catch a Big ole slab. Fished from 7AM- 1AM and brought home 17 good ones and two nice Channel cats who decided they like crappie jigs also. Got to watch dear ole Dad take a header at the courtesy dock as he was stepping out of the boat. LOL thank Goodness he was alright tho with just some bruises and scrapes. It hurt me to watch him laying on the 130 degree concrete in pain. He is one tough Ole Dude. Love Ya Dad...

I'm glad your said "ole" dad, and not "old" cuz he and I might be about the same age. The one on the left is your dad right? and the quite bashful one on the right is the uncle? Glad he is a tough "ole" guy too. CP it was slow today. I finally got 8 big slabs but by 11:00 i was heading to the ramp, too hot for me. I started catching them deeper (12-18') off the drops. The flats was slow I think because of it being so clear & super calm water.

Great lookin fish your Pop and uncle got CP. Best part is you was with them out there. My Pop and uncles are all gone now and you sure miss times like that, Thanks for sharin.

Yep Guy on the left is my Dad, His left ankel gave in when he stepped out and he went down hard on his left side. Looked like he took a shot from a top rated NFL Linebacker while carrying the ball at the two yard line. LOL now that I know he's OK It's sooo dern hard not to bust out laughing and iv'e seen him take some good falls during our fishing and hunting trips over the years, but this one would be rated as one of the top three in the family highlight reels. LOL

I know what you mean RTARK with the water temps climbing on up there, we will be going on a deep water hunt soon. I feel the bite is about to change for us on Dardanelle. And deeper water will be the name of the game,;)

Okay Ski get ready for Battle, Those river slabs are some Big Bad boys!!! and they come out fighting hard and allot of the females are still full of eggs even tho water temps are approaching 90 degrees. I think they r going to hold em in. this year.
