Been tying a little again finaly

Well it has been a while since I have been able to get into the groove but I am finaly back into it.

These are not crappie jigs per say but I bet one would take them. Hopefully a big one and not a dink with a mouth smaller than the head of the jig.

These are actualy tied for steelhead being 1/4 ounce and #2 hooks. I am sure a bass would hit them without thinking twice but I am after much bigger fish.

Hopefully I will be back into tying some crappie and trout jigs sooner or later. This summer looks like a cold swampy wet one so not sure how many crappie will be eating in my cold ponds this year.

I would love to visit your neck of the country some time. So much to see and some really different fish than we see here.

Here is pretty much bass, crappie or bluegills unless you go to inshore salt water which has some great fishing for sure with the Speckled trout and red fish, which the red fish are a lot more fun to catch. Of course off shore is a whole different world too.

Jigs look nice, but hard to know much when it someone like me that has never fished for any of the Northern fish on any side of the country. I do hear from guys that catch Walleye, small mouth and Northers on my jigs, but we don't see any of them either down here.

They look great Fish.... Love the paint job. Sure wish I could hang into a big steal-head...

toby come on up to wv.. we could hit the lower niagra river.. Me and fatman was talking about this a little while back...it would a few hr drive from here.

I really would like to come up there..is there a bite in the fall??

those ones that look like crawdads would just kill on my home water!!! they look goood man wat is a steelhead

A steelhead is a 10-30# sea run Rainbow trout. They get bigger but mostly natives and we can't keep them.

fish nothing wrong with those, they should get em fine
