If it wasn't for my bifocals I wouldn't be able to tie jigs. I have the line-less glasses that are progresses bifocals and I do have to lean my head up a little to get the right spot. If I drop my vice it's to close to the table. It's not to bad once you tye with them for awhile.
My question who doesn't use bi-focals????LOL if your a tier, and (gulp) got some age on and aren't presently using glasses, you your gona be needing them...If I don't have them on while working I got to go look where I left them. No can see with out....them!
I wear tri-focals. When I first got them it ws a nightmare.
Before I had implants I had glasses for years and once they made the no line type and I think they call progressive lens, they are great once use to them because your brain will learn where to loom through them for what ever distance it is. They were great at any distance. I would not have wanted regular bifocals or trifocals as both would be a pain unlike the progressive type.
