just get a couple of fenders to throw over the side when it's docked problem solved.
naw wannabe, just get some oversize hose and split it down the middle and fit it over the top rail from front to back.
Check Cabelas and BPS. I have seen what you are looking for in one of those catalogs. I sure like that boat. Been lusting after one of those for a couple of years now. How does it fish?
If there is enough vertical clearance on your gunnels you might want to consider this. Buy some foam noodles in a color close to your boat and split them down the long axis and place them over your gunnels. Now you not only have a rub rail, but you have a place where you can store lures and other tackle while you fish.
Thanks for all the ideas, Fellows..... all I could come up with was to put some heavy pipe wrapping tape over the gunnels. You have given me some more things to consider.
I am biased, Cray; however, I am delighted with this boat. Had some reservations about a stick steer concerning rough, wet ride but that has not been a issue with this rig.... rides good and dry in the roughest water I choose to get out on. Loading on the trailer is a snap as you can put it exactly where you want from the up-front centered driving position. Also has everything you need right handy, so you don't have to move around hardly at all. Only change I would make would be for them to have installed rub rails, and I would get a larger TM if I had it to do over. 45 MK Edge is okay, but would like a 55 with variable speed.
