Taylorsville
Can you get on Taylorsville or is it simply to big of a waste of time to try. I get furloughed Friday and want to fish somewhere but have to be home Friday night so I figure a trip there might work. Was thinking of hitting some blowdowns with minnows to see what happens.

I called the state park last week and they told me that with a low trailer you could launch at 'possum ridge from the parking lot, but all other ramps are closed. They said it will be maybe the middle of June before they all are open again.
Guist Creek looks good and the fishing is good too, if your interested in that. I was up there last Thursday. Still $5 ramp fee.

Guess I am headed to Guist Creek because no where else seems open. Actually though about hitting McNeely Lake for some gills also but haven't decided yet.

if you hit McNeely let me know how it is, I haven't been over there for years.
-
I heard it was great for a urban lake for the gills and redear. I will keep you posted if I go.

I fish from the bank a lot at McNeely, and you can catch some decent bluegill. I have yet to catch Redear but haven't put boat on the water there. Maybe better on the east side of the lake and south. Rain right now holding me up along with cleaning up gear and fish last night from Ky Lake trip. See part of 1 day catch off Big Bear coves...

Caught 84 gills at Guist Creek Friday. Not as big as at KY Lake but a darn nice day. Caught all up in the submerged grass in a cove in 2 foot of water.
