this is the mendenhall glaicier, in juneau...part of tongass national forest. very serene and beautiful place.
Now that's nice to the eyes especially since it's 95* down here right now.;):)
this is tracy arm fijord, where the ship sails all the way nto sawyer glacier. the blue iceberg, the captain said may be 10,000 years old before it dropped off the glacier. pic doesn't do justice, the iceberg was a stunning blue color...
sunset over the ocean..............
this is the white pass summit in skagway, alaska........where the klondike gold rush hit its peak in the 1800's. minere trekked these peaks for hundreds of miles on foot in search on fortunes. this is actually a few miles past the canadian border. absolutely stunning.
name of a street in ketchican, alaska.....
this is on the deck of a restaurant in seattle at night, overlooking the harbor.....took me a bunch of shots to get the right exposure, lol.
finally, a seafood feast at a restaurand called the crab pot.....you order a selection of seafood, according to how many persons....minimum of two people. the had different choices, with or without crabs, mussels, etc......we opted for king crab, snow crab, shrimp, clams, mussels, corn, taters, and sausage................they put a bib on you, dump it all out on a clean sheet, give you a mallet and board, and let you go at it....
