Spider Jigs

I am looking for the best way to thread silicone skirt material through a grub body to make legs for bluegill spider jigs. I tried a sewing needle that I had at the house but the eye was so small that it was very hard to get the skirt through. Any advice?

You can go to a sewing store or craft store and they have needles with bigger eyes at the end that will work much better. Wal Mart probably carries them too.

like seeker said sewing needles you can get them in pretty good sizes to do any of the grub work. It's definitely what I use when we are putting feathers into bodies look at the above post from ship you will see a bunch of bodies that I made. And he applied feathers to them. They are fantastic looking he did a good job

Think you Bob. I use a larger needle with a big eye to do the job.
