looks like wilson lake might be heating up for bream. i was hoping the full moon last night would turn things around.
we got to our spot around 12n after fishing the tailrace below wheeler most of the morning. we ended up sitting on the first bed we hit for 2hrs. only kept 20 but i lost count of how many we caught. the wife went thru a tube of crickets by herself. water temp was 72.
gonna try elk river next week.
Now that is a nice mess of breamHands Clapping. I hope that is what I can get into Sunday @ Guntersville. Taking my wife and 4 yr old son, hoping that we really get into them:cool:!

we did ok....nothing to toadily brag about. my wife hooked a 4lb salt. we caught a couple of white bass, the salt and the usual drum. i'm gettin really tired of drum. oh, and some blue cats. they actually had the water right for a good drift. finding bait was a little tricky but they're they're. no smallmouth yet at all.Quote:
