Took a friend out today that hadnt crappie fished but a hand full of times and caught a whopper. It was very skinny in the stomache but broad in the shoulders. Went 15". I got 1 that went 13 for the day. fishing was slower than normal with the cold front but we had a good time.

Thanks larry!!! Ive caught a lot of fish out of this lake in the past few years but my best fish out of there is 13" fish. Its funny because I took A BUDDY last year and he got the monster crappie of a lifetime at 17"s, Today I took A BUDDY and he gets a fish of a lifetime at 15"s. My time is coming............................................ ........ The days of the 13"ers out of there is gonna come to a screatching hault SOON I hope!!Quote:

Nice fish Crazed!! We got them pretty good yesterday in the rain. The 20 we kept were still full of eggs.
Im not trying to ask where you fished because I want to fish there but what lake were you on. Reason I ask is because this lake Ive been getting these fish at is around a 325 acre lake and last week the h20 temps were between 74-77 degrees alread and then today they were back down to around 66. That warm spell we had prolly had all the females in this lake spuirting eggs! Just trying to do a lake comparison on h20 temps is the only reason I ask. The river temps were from 63-66 degrees yesterday when we went. 63 in the river and the creeks 66. Thanks!Quote:
