MCC race down to 3 teams
With two tournaments left on its schedule, there's a three-team race for the points title in the Magnolia Crappie Club.
Consistency seems to be the key. The two top teams have not recorded a win in any of the eight events. Shelton Culpepper of Bay Springs and David Thornton of Eagle Lake lead with 158.25 points, followed by William Clark of Clarksdale and Carl Painter of Hernando with 154.12.
The only other team within reach is Dr. Tonya Robertson and Terry Clinton of Clinton. Their total of 153.46 includes two wins, at Chotard and Grenada.
Teams get 10 points for each event entered, plus their weight total. The remaining events are May 21 at Okatibbee Lake and June 18 at Sardis.
