Anyone have any info or reports from Skiatook lake for crappie
Some friends of mine have been fishing there off and on for about a week...have caught several nice crappie and full stringers also..I believe they Van said up close to the dam and around the rip rap..also said they had found several good brushpiles holding fish shallow..the lake as reported was low about 4' and clear..hope this helps and wish I had more info..

went this weekend on sunday got a late start about 9 30 10ish went around to the west of the damn into the coves and trolled into the tree tips and caught two large mouth basses first few casts then nothing all day long but we had no live bait we tried everything in the the damn tackle box ...
My neighbor has a slip at one of the marinas, don't know which one, he says he catches a lot of crappie but they are all about the size of your hand.
how much is a slip at skiatook ? i have a 18foot fish and ski?
I don't no how much a slip is but I think the name of the only marina I no of there is crystal bay off highway 20 I went out over Easter week end and got 15 in about an hour and a half in the cove buy twin points boat ramp all over ten inches about four foot deep biggest was a pound and quarter and fourteen inches then the rain started again
I have went out twice since my last post and havent been able to find them yet. Caught a few each time out but no size or consistency.
Slip rental is about $1800.00 a year without a lift.
Fished the docks last week and was fairly busy but all were the size of your hand. Possibly going to try a area I've never fished on Friday. Will post updates with good news hopefully!
