Wappapello Lake temporary rock berm that was built to raise the effective elevation of the spillway has been topped in about a 25' section of it. KFVS said that the increase in water flow into the St. Francis river could cause a steady rise in levels, but would not cause a wall of water. Just a heads-up to my fellow sportsmen to the south. My wife's co-workers in the Powe area were evacuated last night/this morning.
