A LIL Something to keep everybody's spirits UP/Lake Brewer/Lake Conway

Here is a few Pics of trips from Lake Conway and Lake Brewer Catches I have'nt posted yet the Crappies were caught in Conway's Cypress around Parlarm Creek and Green's Lake on bright colored Jigs beginning of april.
The Whites were caught on Brewer in the North inflow creek channel on bright colored roadrunners and twister tails this past friday. We caught over 100 1-2lb whites, just kept a few to eat, but you talk about fun WOW!!! Got a kid you want to take fishing this is the spot they are in a heavy spawn right now.

Good catch.. Have never caught a white in my life but my dad and his buddies used to fish for them when they were in college up at the U of A and he said that they would find them like that and they would catch enough to eat off of them all summer and winter until the next spawn... Sounds like something i need to try!!! LOL

Nice catch Russ. I love those whites also. I tell you one thing though, they can make a mess of a spider rig when you come up on a few of them

One Man's Trash is another man's treasure. Fillet meat just above the skin leaving all the red meat attached to skin. Soak fillets in water with a dash of salt and baking soda. Serve at next fish fry with crappie and watch to see how many complain.;)
