skip will have alot to say i bet...i see he uses it alot on his jigs
Are you talking about Antron like for mostly fly tying or are you talking about the Crystal Antron Chenille?
If it's the chenille it has some nice sparkle in it and holds up much better than regular chenille. I have used it fro 5 years now and still do on some of my personal jigs and some guys know about it from me and they order it too. I also think it's easier to tie a nice looking jig with it.
The other like of Antron is more for flies and I do have some of that too, but not sure how you may be using it on jigs unless you want a thin body jig? There are lots of uses for Antron for flies. Thought I would come back and add that I have some dubbing that is Antron and I have some spooled Antron like thick thread. SO don't know which your talking about.

Crystal antron for crappie jigs holds up a lot better than most chenille. There's a lot of different kinds of chenille that after you fish with it one day and catch some, the next day it will be dry and crusty. Not the case with antron. Just the other day I broke the 100 fish mark on one jig, still looks good. Offers a neater tie too.
Its the Chenille im talking about....It seems its very limited in colors. Where is a good place to see some different colors.
Crystal Antron is what the chenille is called. Just has a little flash in it. Crazy Angler sells the best antron but doesn't offer pics. Here's a site to view pics. Click scroll down arrow and color should populate. If it doesn't click on the pic.

You most likely don't want the large as it pretty big and most places don't even have it, but the Medium is nice for 1/16 and larger, but the small is also nice for 1/32 and smaller. It comes in 2mm, 6mm & 8mm.

Its definitely great material but it also costs over twice as much as other chenilles!
Your right RonDon it's not cheap for sure, but I still like the stuff a lot.

I like the way it looks too. I don't have many colors but the black, tan and purple get a lot of use for me.
