Brody's first solo fish, all on his own.

here is brody with a decent blue gill he caught all by himself. the only problem is his SPIDERMAN fishing rod was not up to the task. heck, i consider myself a pretty good fisherman, and i even had trouble. gonna go this week and get him a "real" rod with the classic starter reel, ZEBCO 33. yall check this out.

yes, ppg, time does fly. i vaguely remember gracie and maggie being so young. he is a very tall two year old. he won't be three until june and he is already 41 inches tall (that's 3 feet 5 inches for yall non math folks. LOL). i really hope it won't be too terribly long til he is snatching crappie with me on a regular basis.

That's funny shooter, I was gonna announce that I had figured out why the rod wasn't working for him - it had something to do with the shirt.

I remember my daughter's first fish. It was a goggle-eye and we were in my kayak. It was a trip trying to film it and make sure she didn't drop the rod. Good times man, gooooooood times.

Time goes by so fast my oldest is 18 and I can remember casting and baiting poles for him and his sister as fast as I could in a private pond and they were pulling in some hugh bream, after they had cauhgt 67 I was plumb worn out. Doc all I can say is (SAVOR THE MOMENT) it goes by way to fast.
