copper hammered, indiana style
Anything and everything. They're easy enough to change out when you want to try something different. Experimenting with them is half the fun!!!!!!!!!!!
I use all three depending on where I am fishing it. If around and through the grass and Hydrilla I will use a willow mostly, but if not much grass I will use either of the other 2. I like to use gold color on cloudy days or in stained water and silver on bright days or in clear water. I don't think it matters smooth or hammered, but I have some of both.
The real Roadrunner Blade (imprinted with name) is Indiana and it's heavier than the other brands you may buy.
Oh and that one pictured in my Sig is one I took the picture just before I headed out last spring, probably in April when our water starts to clear some and I just about wore that one out on crappie fishing in water 9 1/2' deep which is where they went last spring when they dropped this lake 2'. Can't even come close to saying how many I cought on it, but it was a bunch over a few weeks to a month fishing. I still have it and just going to take off what is left and re-tie it again.

any of you have any actual luck with the Real Road runners? I dont think ive caught 1 crappie with them yet.
In answer to the question do I catch fish on RR by Blakemore. Yes I only buy one of there produces a 1/8 oz White head double barbed red hook jig head. I use it for about 3 weeks very late winter last of January first of February to longline with. That is when they hit on the chartruse and green Curly tail plastics. Very effective bait. Other wise I use a Do-It pony head the rest of the time I cast them and tie them myself. Don't use plastic all that much but that jig does the job very nicely.
Redman
a word about roadrunner's we have been using them for quite a few years and they are very productive here in the state of Oregon the biggest crappie I ever caught was on a road runner it weighed over 2 pounds so it is always a wise ideal to keep a few in your tackle box.
