Up until about 3 years ago, my wife and I would fish about 5 or 6 times a year usually when the bream got really hot. It's been a little different lately. I kept notes from the last couple years and we went 27 trips from March till December 23 and caught 375 crappie 232 bream 7 bass and 9 catfish that we kept. In 2009 we started fished on 03-09 and quit on 11-27 went 20 trips and kept 202 crappie 155 bream 28 bass and 3 catfish. I sure don't get to go as much as I would like, but don't think I could handle 200 days a year.
Subject to fish 2 times a day everyday but Sunday not big on saturdays either leave it to the weekenders usually.
Noslab.
fished 170 day last year, 40already this year all white perch oops i forgot i am not in ms. i meant crappie.
Somewhere around 100-150...?, every weekend weather permitting, and many evenings after work. All crappie other than putting the kids on the bream beds, trotline for flatheads often when we catch bream. Every once in a while I'll try the bass.
we fish around 120-150 days a year, like others i fish for crappie unless wife gets the fever for them big bream, but try to leave them green carp alone, oh i mean bass lol
I go about 20-30 times a year. My trips are usually pretty short. Mostly in the spring, once it gets hot out I pretty much stay home, I don't go at night much. In the fall I turn to hunting mode.
I dont get to fish enough. 75-100. If you ask my wife I fish 365 a year. I fish all year long.
I figure my fishing averages out to about twice a week in recent years, although the trips are getting shorter since my oldest is now 5 and goes most of the time w/ me. I still do quite a bit of bass fishing in the bottoms and on the AR River. My crappie fishing is primarily done in the fall, winter, and early spring. The winter fishing gets disrupted at times when the duck hunting is right though. My hunting in the fall slowed way down once I figured out how good the fishing was that time of year. That was about 12 years ago when I was first out of college. Spent 4 or 5 evenings a week after work on the St. Francis River when I lived up there. Kept a fishing log from 1999 - 2003. Caught over 600 spotted bass out of two holes on the St. Francis one October/November. Long winded when it comes to fishing lol !!! I honestly could go everyday and never tire of it.
Retired. 5-6 days a week. Here in the north only 5 months b4 ice. Mostly catch & release with a meal now and then.
