should i get my charger fixxed?
well i have a MK 460D charger
bought it off a guy off craigslist, worked great for 6 months. but now it is showing lights for a battery problem, but i know its not the battery, and i have almost completely determined that the problem is the temp sensors in the leads.
my question is, should i just keep using the charger like i am now, with two staring batteries in parallel, and two trolling batteries, in paralell. if im not mistaken this will allow one bank to charge both batteries,
or... should i take everything out of the boat, use my money to ship the charger, then hope that they will fix it and ship it back to me free of charge. and then ill be out of fishing for however long it takes them, which who knows how long that could take.
what would you guys do? my main concern is 1. they will find a reason the charge me to fix it, or they will take forever to fix it. also i have to pay to ship it, and will be upset if i dont get it back repaired quickly for free.
the guy on the phone didnt seem too helpful, acted like it was a hassle, even though its his job.
