Jury duty

My son who has been eligible to be picked for jury duty for 2 years has already been picked 3 times. Twice for county and once for district. Is this some kind of record. District Judge would not let him off even though it's the week before finals. Judge did let him off when he was in High school.

Is this the record, 3 times in 2 years?

it may not be a record but it's a pretty good average.

I have gotten a pool notice for federal court the last 2 springs, so far I havent been called.

I was called two years in a row. My boss thinking he was doing me a favor called a friend and got me off the second one. I have not been called since. The problem is, I get paid for jury duty and liked the break in monotony. Wish they would call me again.

I think the judges should excuse students!

all you have to do is go to the court house and put in your wishes. they want people like you. i think.
