Anyone do any fishin around here? How is it?
Not sure....heard some guys talking about wes watkins before and they said that when they go they don't catch numbers but catch quality crappie....really don't know anything more
Damn, i moved to norman and am lookin for somethin close other than tbird.
I perfer Wes Watkins lots of timber on the south side and on the West end of lake. It is tight getting boat up in the west end lots of timber. Also if the wind is high they will shut down the lake due to timber falling in the west end.
How is the shore access for anglers without a boat?
you can walk the banks for a very long way around the lake right now with the water down like it is on wes watkins. I prefer Shawnee twin lakes I have had real good luck on that lake for many years but only fished wes watkins five times now and not to impressed hopefully some thing will happen to change my mind cause there is allot of good cover around that lake.
