Lake Cumberland Info?

Just moved back home, and ready to catch some fish. My family has a houseboat at Lees Ford Marina. And was wanting to take my boat over to do a little fishing. Any tips on where to start? I haven't fished alot due to being in the military. So any info would be greatly appreciated.
