new twist on an old jig

I can remember fishing red headed jigs with white maribou out of my Dad's and grandfathers tackle boxes in the Spring. A thread a couple weeks back got me thinking of upgrading those old jigs.

gonna tie up a few more for my Dad on Father's Day.

I tie one very similar. And yes the red head jigs are very effective some times. Like to use shad gray colors for the tails another variation on this pattern. Nicely Done!!! Hats Off to you.
