I still have the original ducer on my boat, under what conditions are they breaking. Are you hitting submerged objects in deep water or shallow water, how are they getting broken?
Go to lowes, home depot. Find a plastic epoxy made by Locktite it has a picture of plastic lawn chair on it.best thing I have found for repairing them. I glue the break first then set 24hrs then put a coat on outside to build it up around break. Sand to rough up and clean with alcohol first. Stop riding over those stumps LoL.
Mine is a transom mount that will release when you hit something. I've never had a problem and I run in some pretty rough stuff duck hunting. Is your transducer on the trolling motor or transom? If it gets to be a really big problem, you might try a through hull model.
I saw a guy at lake conway who had a great rig for his transducer. He had it mounted on a metal bracket that was attatched to the transom with suction cups. He said when he hits something hard enough it just comes loose and he can re attatch it. He had a short cable on it so that it wouldnt drag below the boat when it did come off. Next time mine breaks, Im going to give it a try
i used jb weld on mine. its held for over a year now

I really don't know how it this time. I noticed about a week ago that the neck of the transducer was cracked. I don't know when or how it got cracked but it was cracked. I had a bad case of head up rear and went fishing without fixing it and at some some point it snapped in half. I have tried the epoxy before but i don't think I did it right. I will have to try again with the advice I have been given from yall. And, yeah I do need to try to stay off the stumps and logs but stuff happens:D
if you leave it loose where it will give a little it wont break use to have the same problem till i unloosen mine some
