Never have been to Brewer Lake around plumberville. Where would be a good place to run some trotlines and a few yo-yo's? Not looking for specifics just is it better to put in the north side or down south of the lake?

I fished Brewer this past Saturday and can tell you that it is still quite low. I would estimate about 6 feet low, but the rain today may have helped some. The reason that is significant is that the water level is down below most of the shoreline vegetation to the point that you can't really achor a trot line or esp a yo-yo easily right now. No trees to speak of out on Brewer except maybe a few at the North end. Also of note, the lake seems to be a real hot spot for bass fishing these days. There are tons of bass boats out there all the time, and I could see some trot lines getting cut if one of those guys hung into it. Just a thought.
