Barren Update
Thought I'd post this before the game was over, I'll either be to wound up with a win or two disappointed with a loss to post anything.
With the high wind forecast, I cancelled plans to fish Kentucky Lake and decided to try Barren. Wind was terrible, but found quite a few fish in Peters. Water temps was around 52-53 degrees. Found most fish suspended away from the banks in 12-14 FOW. Jigs tipped with minnows, trolling into the wind. They were picky like that today, and it was really tough fishing into the wind! Had to wade through a lot of small ones, but ended up with a limit of mostly blacks. Attachment 58462 Attachment 58461

Nice catch. I'm down here in NC (Shelby County boy originally) and tried watching the game and had to walk out in the first half with too many nerves. Decided to venture off the NC Crappie forums to see what may be happening back home. Let's both try to hang in there and hope our boys pull it out. Hopefully we'll both be back on the computer hiding out from the cats game on Monday!

Nice Brad, those blacks are pretty right now, looks like they are turning color there. Heckuva limit in some nasty wind.

Great catch Brad, those are some nice fish.

Wes, I'll be giving you a call in a few weeks. Hybrids should be busting good at night towards the end of April. You and Brandon will have to make a trip over. Sixfin gave me your number.

Beware, your side will hurt from laughing so much. But you will have a great time..

Good looking mess of fish. Those blacks sure are pretty. It was rough up here Saturday also, river was whitecapping at 9:00 AM.
