HD, DI transducer mounted to Trolling Motor w/US-2

Lots of questions being posed about the new DI. After learning Down Imaging Units are not compatible with US-2 sonar, I wanted to see if anyone has installed the DI transducer on the trolling motor bypassing/disabling the US-2? Can anybody post a picture of the mounted transducer? I'm concerned whether the transducer will interfere with the US-2. Trying to get all these questions addressed before taking the plunge.

You might PM or ask justinp61...I think he mounted an additional xducer to his us2...not using the us2 sonar for operation...

With the US2 bypassed/disabled, installing one of the new DI units on the trolling motor would give the same results whether there was a US2 there or not.
