me and a buddy used to bass fish it several years ago. we never crappie fished it but back then you'd see the yo-yoers doing pretty good. i'm not 100% positive but i want to think i heard through the grapevine that it had went private, but i could have it mixed up with some other lake...?
Don't think it's considered a private lake, but to launch a boat is $3. I plan on going a couple weeks from now to check it out.

We went down there around the first weekend of March an caught maybe 15 or so fish all day! Maybe 4 crappie total rest where bass an bream. Water was up an close to muddy! Yes its yo yo fished pretty hard it looked like! They had those tall cane's drove in alot of places with yo yo's attached to them! Never seen that before. It looks good and fishy but i prob wont try it again anytime soon. With water conditions around here ive been searching for places to go try. If you havent been down there in a while id give it a try you never know you might hit it right!!
Thanks for the replys. Yeah i remember sneekn up on those cane poles standing in the middle at 60 mph just after daylight. It used to be a great bass lake just wondered about the crappie. Kinda hard for me to make that drive when i can be at sardis just as fast.
