Morse Lake

Just a reminder to everyone that the next Indiana Slab Masters Tournament is at Morse Reservoir a week from Saturday on April 9th!

Looking forward to seeing possibly new teams and fishing close to home for the next couple of tournaments!

I went over to Morse today and the upper end of the lake is finally starting to clear very nicely, where the lower end of the lake near the dam is still heavily stained. This lake takes forever to clear up in the spring.

Is there only one ramp there? And do you know the fee, would like to fish before the tournament

there is only one ramp and the fee is $13.00. the address is 20999 Hague Road, Noblesville

Are you going to fish Morse with us Randy?

Fished Morse yesterday for my first time ever. I didn't find any big fish but I will say the water looked good. The water temp was 44 deg and hopefully this week it will warm back up and bring that temp back up into the 50's/

I hope we have another great turn out. Now that we have one under our belt we have a game plan now on how to run the tournament so things move along nice and smooth.

We will meeting at the Morse Lake Marina.
Jim will be putting all the info up on the website sometime this weekend. We will also have an early check in on the 8th from 6pm to 7pm.
I strongly suggest doing the early check in if possible because it really speeds things up for everyone in the morning.
We will be taking the paypal option off Tuesday for the Morse Lake tournament. This avoids any confusion at the check in.

We would like to, just depends on $$ and the mrs.'s she hasn't gone back to work yet and had a close relative just pass so nerves and $$ is tight. If we can't make it in the tourney I'm sure we will be around.
