ky lake lbl side bbq

Hoping someone can help. We are coming down in a couple weeks and were considering having a shore lunch or two on the lbl side. Does anyone know if any of the bays have good picnic area with bbq grills? I know sugar bay has a ramp just not sure if there are any facilities there.

any recommendations?

Denumbers bay on the Barkley side of LBL has a boat ramp,porta-potti bathroom and a primitive area to camp but that's about all I know..:confused:

good luck you could always bring a hibachi grill

Sugar does have campsites by the ramp, but I don't recall seeing any grills away from the campsites.

Pisgah has a nice area with a small ramp and some picnic tables.

Ha Ha, me toe!

When entering Sugar Bay if you look at the 2nd point to your left......great spot, it's cleared off there. My buddies and I always bathe in that little cove. We call it Swimmer's Point. There's your ideal location for shore lunch on the LBL side.
