I bought it to use for something and didn't realize until afterwards that it didn't have a quick release on it. I would have returned it but I had already thrown out the box and reciept. All I did was mount it, never did use it and the cable is 25 ft and still coiled up. If you are interested in it just send me a PM, I have no use for it.
