Headed to Nimrod Thursday to camp for the weekend! Fished it several times and caught fish, but never really " Tore em up", anyone wana give a feller a heads up on what to do and or what not to do? What/Where to fish and what not! Camping at County Line! Anything would be greatly appreciated!
Look for cover on drops unless it stays warm. If water temps rise a few more degrees look shallow.
The only time I ever fished Nimrod we caught a bunch of them in the buckbrush with long poles fishing minnows about 18 inches deep, but obviously they were very shallow when we happened to be there.
My uncle was up there this past week. He said they were shallow. He said he was ussing a jig, suspeneded about a foot. Good Luck.
