New to The forum!!!
good evening guys!
my name is Henry (RatherBFishin) and im from college park metropolitan area and work in the oxon hill area... really have gotten into crappie fishing and hope i can meet some of you guys and start fishing with some of you all... maybe learn some tricks and find some lake to fish crappie and pan fish... its great to be part of crappie.com... if you guys have any suggestions... or have time to go fishing and wouldnt mind me tagging along im willing to meet you and have some fish for dinner.

welcome to cdc henry glad to see another marylander on here you are a little distance from me but there are a couple fellas down that way that have more info about them waters .

haha thanks scott, really do appreciate it... where in the west are you... and for sure im looking forward in meeting them... i beleive this is my prime of fishing i got me a lil jon boat (12'ft aluminum) and my stuff ready to go... never have gotten on the freshwaters with her or ever have so this will be quite the experience! the net will get wet best beleive that..

garrett county almost as far west as you can go with out hitting west virginia.

ahh thats cool about over 100 miles from me... never been on that side of the woods... Good fishing up there?

deep creek lake is all the rave but it's got a wide learning curve thats for sure alot of people say it's a hard lake to fish but as with all of them they take time and thats part of the fun .
and mostly it's a tourist place . tons of boat traffic after the water warms up. so it's early ,late or in the night . for the best times .
