St. John's River

Planning a trip to the river Tuesday.
Don't know if I should go to C. S Lee, the 46 ramp and up toward Monroe, or
go to Powell's and fish down river.
Any suggestions?

Well, if I was a bettin man, I'd probably look at C.S. Lee, then again, the 46 ramp is also a pretty good bet,
and, of course, Powell's is always a consideration :) :)

Joe, seriously, I like that area from 46 up to Monroe, should be pretty good right now.
C.S.Lee is OK and, I don't know anything about Powell's.........

JOE, It's TUESDAY.......where did you go and how did you do? I'm going to Lemon Bluff Friday on a shellie hunt.

We went to Powell,s. Beautiful day for fishing. Terrible day for catching. Had the worst day ever on St. John's. Should have gone to 46 and fished toward Monroe, an area I am familiar with. May try 46 next Tuesday. Will not be going back to Astor area
until I get some positive feedback from some one who has been there and had a good day. Confirmed my belief that you are better off in a familiar area that you have had success in the past.
Be interested in info on Orange or Lockloosa.

Any one been to the river this wek? Would like to hear from those fishing the river, Lockloosa, Orange or Cresent Lake.
