Looking to spend around $500 and I want the best one out there for the money. I would like GPS for trolling but also I go to the river alot and don't want to replace transducers. Any help would be great.

I had the HB 587 with gps and a map card slot, it would be under 500 and Im sure there are some Lowrance models that would fit your request, I am not familiar with them but Im sure some of the Lowrance owners will give you some insight to the Lowrance units. below is a couple of links to get you started :
