Nimrod Lake report

The water temps hovering in mid 50's here. Crappie seem to still be deep even with lake level up. I kept a limit with a few Bass (Green Carp) to boot yesterday. Most time color does'nt matter much to me. Seems like they were deep and hit pink better.
I cooked a big mess of Crappie and gave 1/2 a gallon pail of fillets to Slabbandit since he can't fish right now. Did not catch any real slabs but atleast I got out. Hopefully we will get some sunshine soon to warm it up and the Slab Crappie will shallow up.:D

What's the matter with Slabbandit? Bad time to not be able to fish! :(

Been under the weather with joint pain flair up.:( May get to give 'em a try before too long.

Looks like you may have a few more days to get well. Still planning to pull my camper over to Nimrod soon and spend a few days. May be first week in April. Get well and get out there, man! :D
