Im off this coming Friday and never been to either of these lakes but Im planning on hitting one of the two up. Any advice on where to launch? Im tired of driving to Mississippi every other weekend to fish so figure I would start learning some lakes over here closer to home
I have fished LM many times. I like putting in at Lakeside Marina on hwy 231 just south of Pell City. Great place, launch, restrooms on water and a campground if you need it. The fishing it that same creek is usually all u need, too.
