Do you guys leave your on board charger plugged in all the time or unplug after charging is complete? This winter I purchased a Minkota MK210 charger. I have always used a charger that I hooked up after fishing and disconnected it the next morning. Thanks in advance for the help.
Dont know about that one but the ones with a D on the end shut off by themselves and turn back on when the Bat gets low. it would be a 210D I just ordered a 220D to day.
Somewhere in the docs it should tell if you can leave it connected. The one i have can be left connect and works like a trickle charger after the batts are up to voltage.
Yes, that is considered a smart charger. It operates in 3 stages and can be left plugged in until you are ready to go fishing again. Don't forget to unplug it when you go and don't ask how I know that.
