I really got cabin fever during the blizzard we had and i could get out to the lake so I headed up to a local pond i know of for a few hours just for some VERY small bream. I ended up catching around 20 bluegill that were under 3 inches long. All in all it was good to be able to get out and have something bite a hook.
I agree with you, getting out is good !Catching even the little ones just a bonus !

Just to feel that tap on the end of line is a pretty good cure for cabin fever.

Cabin fever is rough on me, glad I have my tying this year. Helps a lot.
This is what I'd try, 20 small gills, they seem abundant. Use a 2nd pole with a hook and 1 small gill as bait. No weight,drop strait down or away from, slack line or tight. Secure the rod and just go back to doing what you was with your 1st rod. Send me some PICS later, good luck.Quote:

Down here, we don't drown worms, we try and teach those worms how to swim but the Bullgills and Shellcrackers keep eating them. Anytime you can get out is a good time.Quote:
