Well folks I just received my HDS-8 (new) back from Lowrance and I got to say a great big Thank You to the people at Lowrance customer service,Jason Gilstrap and Kerry at Jetta Marina. It took a while and my patience ran thin and I said some things I should not have but all is well. Greg at Lowrance is a great guy and I am glad he got all this worked out. I am ready to fish and enjoy this beautiful weather. Tight lines !

I hope you enjoy your Lowrance HDS-8 as much as I have. It has been a heck of a learning curve especially managing over 5,000 waypoints.If you ever have any questions just ask mduncan62. (Just kidding) I am sure he would help you in any way as I would also. Don't forget to fish instead of riding around all day looking.
I'd recommend asking the questions on here, and Cane Pole usually has the right answer. I'm still struggling with a couple Route issues myself. If I had an hds-8 on my rig, I don't know if I'd get any fishing done. I'm thinking pretty hard about upgrading one of my 5's to a 7. That's as good as I can get for now.Quote:
