Hummingbird 570 di
Went to bp today and traded in a eagle 420 or 480 and chip that i hadnt used for the 570. Guys at work were talking about them and the display looked pretty good. The clerk said they were going to be advertised in the spring sale but the price would still be the same, $299. Just wondering if anyone else has bought and used one. I'm told they havent been on the market long. I have the down imaging model, and hope it works as good as the display.
Thanks for any info

I tried ordering one and BPS didn't even have them yet, and that was about a month ago. They said they were going to be getting them mid-February. However, I talked to an older gentleman who works at Gander and he uses one mounted sideways on his trolling motor and uses it as a side imager. He said it works fine, and that he loves it.

I got mine at BPS 2 weeks ago. I went to the store though.....not sure about online yet. Ice on the water here, but I'm gettin closer to being able to get it out.
I like that idea about mounting it to use as side imaging too

I have one that I just installed not too long ago. Tried to use it the other day. I think I am going to have to print out the operator manual and take it out with me. There is a lot to know. It seems murky water has a big effect on it. There may be an adjustment for that.
